Simple Gut Friendly Dressings

Try these 3 simple gut friendly DIY dressing recipes for an easy & tasty salad.

Sesame Orange:
1/4 cup fresh orange juice
2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
1 Tbsp. tamari (soy sauce w/o the wheat)
1/2 tsp. sriracha
1 tsp. sesame oil

Drizzle & toss Sesame Orange dressing with greens (such as butter lettuce), carrot shreds, crispy wonton strips, & sesame seeds.

Maple Balsamic:
1/2 cup EVOO
*1 minced garlic clove
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
3 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
2 tsp. Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp. salt

Drizzle Maple Balsamic dressing on top of baby spinach, diced strawberries, & slivered almonds. Bonus flavor...crumble feta or blue cheese on top!

Lemon Dressing:
1/2 cup EVOO
*2 garlic gloves
4 Tbsp. lemon juice
4 tsp. Dijon mustard
4 tsp. pure maple syrup
1 tsp. sea salt
Few twists of ground black pepper

Try Lemon Dressing paired with chopped kale, cranberries, chopped celery & walnuts. Feeling brave...crumble some goat or feta cheese for a delicious addition.

Don't forget to add protein on top or on the side of all these options to balance it out and increase satiety!

*Tip: love garlic but it doesn't love you? Sub garlic infused olive oil to enhance flavor & keep the gut happier.
Or try reducing the amount called for in the recipe!
