Magic Pill(ar) of Health: Hydration
We likely all know that we need to drink water, considering every system in the body needs water to function most optimally.
💁💁♀️But how often do we stop and really pay attention to the actual amount of pure water we drink each day. Or HOW we choose to hydrate. 🤔What are easy habits we can develop to meet our individual fluid needs?
💧Hydration goal: consume at least half of your body weight of H2O in ounces each day.
(note: individual needs may vary pending health & activity status but this is a good starting point for most)
❌Aim to avoid 'the catch up' mentality and don't wait until the day is half over to begin hydrating!
💦⏰H20 First: Start your morning off with an 8oz glass of water BEFORE any other liquid or calories are consumed (yes that includes that cup of ☕️or🫖)
🥤Find that perfect 'to go' cup so that you always have water on hand. Those sips all add up!
